Information You Provide
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is submitted to the third-party provider that returns the search result. Our servers do not retain a copy of those queries. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting systems create standard logs, which can include an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand general use. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Limited information is used to operate the service, diagnose technical issues, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links lead to Township, Essex County, New Jersey, court, library, archive, and third-party search resources. Each outside service controls the data submitted to it under its own policy. That includes sponsored results supplied by a third-party company.
Who Can Receive Data
Hosting and support providers process the logs needed to operate the service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Data Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no site accounts, passwords, or member profiles maintained by Irvington Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor provided information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Data Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by a website. Because this service keeps very little, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and server logs and removing any applicable information. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by government offices are outside our control and must be addressed to the custodian.
For government records, New Jersey’s public-record access framework is the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), P.L. 2001, c. 404, as amended, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. OPRA does not give this private reference service control over a Township, county, state, court, or library record.
Policy Updates
We may revise this policy by posting the updated version here. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the revised policy.
